PH-3020D pH Permissive Control System
The PH-3020 water treatment system maintains proper pH of wastewater in order for solids to settle out quicker, emulsified oils to become more buoyant, and for some metals to precipitate.
Request Details →When oils and solids are emulsified into the water, chemistry breaks the emulsion so contaminants clump together and drop out.
Some contamination will not separate or filter on its own — detergents emulsify oils and hold fine solids in suspension. Coagulation adds chemistry that neutralizes the electrical charge keeping those particles apart.
Flocculation then gently brings the destabilized particles together into larger flocs heavy enough to settle, skim or filter. This stage is what lets WaterMaze treat the tough, emulsified wash-water that simpler systems simply cannot.
A coagulant neutralizes particle charge, breaking the oil-in-water emulsion.
Slow, gentle mixing grows micro-particles into large, settleable flocs.
Flocs are removed by settling, dissolved-air flotation or filtration.
Sometimes solids just don't want to settle out on their own. Chemicals such as coagulants and polymer flocculants can drastically improve a clarifier's ability to settle suspended solids. pH chemistry can help with discharge compliance as well as improve other chemicals' performance — and WaterMaze has the equipment to properly use and manage these water treatment chemicals.
